Adopting a child at a long distance means creating a unique and indissoluble link, giving rights and a better life to those children living in poverty and marginalization in the South of the world and inside their own community.
Due to this reason, Save Children’s Life onlus get committed, through the ChildrenAid project, to pinpoint an area where to intervene and realize long distance support programmes in pre-school education, primary education, health and nutrition in schools, teenage growth and Thalassaemia treatment inside the International Thalassaemia Project.
Adopting a child, you will grant protection, assistance and growth to the community s/he is living in, offering to him/her the opportunity of living happily, being loved and understood.
If you decide to apply for this project, you will receive immediately
- a picture of the child,
- an information sheet with his/her personal details,
Every year
- an updating reports about the project s/he takes part into,
- a short report with his/her progression and of the community by e-mail every two months,
- two sms coming from the child, sent out by his/her Country Officer in charge.
