SCL meets BREAKING BARRIERS FOR CHILDREN
In the Philippines a very important and efficacious tool to cure and treat disabled children is Breaking Barriers for Children.
It is a non-government organization providing assistance to disabled children up to 14 years, arranged into small units scattered all over the country (STAC - Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center).
Moreover, they support families by counselling for disabled children's parents, they provide medical equipments such as wheel chairs and other physical support device; they provide for disabled children rehabilitation and receive communications about the most serious cases.
During the meeting with the National Coordinator for Breaking Barriers for Children programmes, the programmes and spiritual sharing with SCL arose.
For this reason, Save Children’s Life will shortly join their efforts to help the poor efficaciously in the Philippines with Breaking Barriers for Children.
