National Convention about the medical cooperation with the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Countries
 
Thursday 8th February at the Farnesina Palace the “National Convention about the medical cooperation with the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Countries” was held, opened by the Foreign Minister, Mr Massimo D'Alema and the Minister of Health Ms Livia Turco, with the participation of many representatives of the Italian Institutions committed in the health section.
 
The aim of the event was to draw up a first balance of the activities performed by Italy in the medical field in the Mediterranean and in the Middle Eastern Countries, and to set up the future commitments, which will be more intense and well-constructed. In particular, they think of introducing an "Italian structure for partnership in the widened Mediterranean region”.
