During Save Children’s Life Chairman Carlo Giacoma visit in the Philippines last 8th March, it was a very pleasant occasion to meet Sainte Anne sisters and visit their institution in Cainta, Rizal.

Especially the “youth home” raised the interest: it is a shelter for the young (at the moment it exclusively welcomes young women aged between 12-21 years old) coming from poor and comfortless families.
For the whole time they will spend in the house, they are receiving a basic adequate education (without forgetting the spiritual one), board and lodging and clothes.
Not only that: they will learn domestic economy rudiments to be able to take care of the house.
During a further visit to Saint Anne Old casa_en di Dama de Noche, in Quezon City many of the nursery school children who come from poor families living in depressed areas had the occasion to show and practise their talents.
Save Children’s Life are consolidating their seat in the Philippines through different activities consisting of: action plans preparation, financing and medicinals raising plans according to sanitary needs more impelling, research of further people that may assume a key-role in the structure, naturally without forgetting to act on the field everywhere and at any time in case of necessity.
