The news came in the middle of July: a flood hit Bacau district.
We have about 600 children belonging to our Teresiana Mission.
The others 4500 are in different schools, there are also many friends and volunteers.
First news are discouraging: in the countries water went high up to 2,3 metres, and destroyed completely homes, equipment and work tools.
Health emergency is on, to provide drinkable water.
After a consultation with our Country Officer, Mrs Maria Bejenaru and the Prefect we are going to arrange for a medical and aid expedition.
We are able to pack 12 pallets from the warehouses (about 3 tons’ material) and within 48 hours I am on my way to Bacau by truck.
Our volunteers and local sanitary authorities together are ready to receive and distribute the materials.
