SCL acknowledge that child has to grow in a family background dominated by happiness, love and comprehension in order to achieve a complete and harmonious personality development.
SCL work considering that it is necessary to get child prepared to face an own individual life in society.
It works in order to educate children according ideals of peace, dignity, tolerance, freedom, equality and solidarity.
It is also necessary for the children to receive a special care and protection, including a suitable legal protection whether before birth or after because of a lack of its intellectual and phisical maturity.
SCL acknowledge that there are children living in difficult conditions in all over the world and the necessity of giving them a special care.
It makes allowance for the importance of each population traditions and cultural values to guarantee the child a protection and an harmonious development.
It acknowledges the importance of international cooperation for children life conditions improvement in all the countries, especially in the developing countries.
Solidarity
The recognition of person dignity generates solidarity expressing first of all through goods right division, equal work remuneration and through the engagement pursuing the goal of a righter social order.
As far as the international level is concerned, all the Nations and Institutions should work according solidarity and subsidiarity principles in order to eliminate or at least reduce poverty, economical means and resources inequality, social and economical injustices, human exploitation, debt increase in the poor countries, perverse mechanisms which hinder poor countries development.
Justice expresses itself through a constant and steady will of giving to others what is due to them.
It is related to recognition and respect of person dignity and rights and to realization of conditions that allow everyone to achieve own rights.
