At Mediterranean Children's service

MedChild are buying one or more first aid and remote help children mobile units, able to reach very far places granting first aid with the best Italian paediatric science by satellite. These units will help to face emergencies and to schedule focused screening campaigns, as to pathologies and geographic areas.
 
There's already a first unit; bought, equipped and tested (1 million Euro was the cost) by Gaslini Foundation and Liguria Region, for emergency interventions (as to the continuous difficulties to reach Iraq, they are arranging to locate the unit in a nearby area).

The Emergency and Remote Diagnosys Mobile Children Sanitary System is an articulated lorry, made with a 6 m long Tractor base and an 8 m long Trailer base, equipped to drive on uneven areas.

The Mobile Units programme includes many countries: Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Egypt, Kurdistan.
