The tractor is equipped as an ambulance, with a sanitary room of 3,20 x 2,40 m. It is endowed with air conditioning and filtering systems apart for the box and the sanitary room, portable power generator, oxygen and compressed air bottles. The tractor is fitted out with the sanitary equipment described in the technical sheet.
The trailer base is the Ambulatory: it is divided into two independent and communicating rooms, a sanitary room of 6 x 2,40 m and a technical room of 2 x 2,40 m.
An opportune insulation, double access doors and an air conditioning and filtering system guarantee the necessary internal conditions.
In case of external temperatures, which are much higher than the average, the trailer may be sheltered with a tent. The trailer is completely autonomous, as it is endowed with an opportune power generator, an UPS, gas oil and drinkable water supplies, exhaust fluid collect tanks, oxygen and compressed air bottles. Wherever the trailer is allowed to, it will possible to connect it directly to the external power and water distribution networks.
The trailer is endowed with a satellite communication system, allowing the connection with Telemedicina Telbios network and, in particular, with Gaslini Institute. The main sanitary equipment in the trailer have the necessary digital deliveries allowing the connection with the LAN network communication system of the same trailer.
The trailer has got television cameras, lamps and monitors for video conferences.
A satellite phone will allow the communication staff to talk with the central headquarters in case of emergency.
